In practical use, people have found that it will work and work well, but the heat shield will need fabrication or if using this on a 222, you should install a different heat shield set up out of a 226/229 lantern. This is a used pump assembly. It has a new pump leather installed. This is the later style pump assembly with the push on nut to hold the leather. See part number 200A5201 for the earlier style with the square nut. Both pumps are identical other than that.
